Abstract: Where is the best place to meet good men?

When a woman asks the best place to meet good men, Bryan counters with a barrage of questions. His point is that you really need to define what you have in mind when you commence searching - especially with Online dating.

Where is the best place to meet good men?

Question:

I am a divorced 50 year old woman. I need to know how to meet men. Where is the best place to meet good, morally clean, single men between 50-60?

Answer:

The problem with giving you an answer is I’m not really sure what you’re looking for because the words “good” and “morally clean” mean different things to different people.

If you give me a solid definition of what you mean by “good” and “morally clean” I’ll be able to help you more.

So the first thing you need to do in describing what kind of a person you’re looking for is to write out a detailed description of what you want, a description the average person would understand.

The only three things I understand you’re looking for are: 1) you want to meet men; 2) you want him single; and 3) you want him between the ages of 50-60.

The odds of your finding a single man between the ages of 50-60 who wants to get married are remote, at best. If he’s been single that long it is extremely unlikely he’ll want to get married, if marriage is what you’re looking for.

Rather, I think you’re looking for a divorced, separated or widowed man who is looking for a relationship with your type of women.

Do you want a husband; a pen pal; an email romance where you never meet; a roommate; a lover...

Next, you don’t mention what you want this man for. Do you want a husband; a pen pal; an email romance where you never meet; a roommate; a lover; etc.

Again, be as specific as you can be to help you narrow down your search and save you, and the men who respond to you, as much time as possible.

Then post a recent photo of yourself on this site and actively look for a man who you believe fits your detailed description of what you want by responding to their ads. You may be surprised to find he’s on this dating site looking for you but he didn’t understand what you were looking for.

Good luck and God Bless.
